WHEN: Saturday July 2
TIME: 9:30 A.M.
WHERE: 10846 Lynx Lake Road
This year our annual meeting will be hosted by Brian and Chris Luetzow at their home at 10846 Lynx Lake Road. Brian and Chris are full time residents of the Lake. As always, parking is very limited and you will need to park on Lynx Lake Road. Please note the starting time of 9:30 A.M. In addition to our annual recap of the Association and the Lynx Lake Conservation Foundation activities, we once again will have John Bates as our featured speaker. John Bates is a noted naturalist and has been actively involved in conservation efforts to protect and preserve our beloved Northwoods for over twenty five years. He is an award winning author of ten books and frequent guest on Wisconsin Public Television. John will be discussing his latest book, Wisconsin Wild Lakes: A Guide To The Last Undeveloped Natural Lakes. If you were at the meeting last Fall which included John’s tour of the old growth forest by the shores of Lynx Lake, you already know how entertaining and engaging his talks are. We are very fortunate to have John back for an encore performance.
The Coffee is a great opportunity to catch up with friends and meet your neighbors. This past year was also a year of transition on the Lake as four properties changed hands. Most notably, Dave Zastrow retired and after fifty years sold his resort. Additionally, we will be sharing with you the projects that the Conservation Foundation is currently engaged in along with those we hope to accomplish in 2022 and beyond. As always, we have lots to talk about.
See you at the Coffee,
Gary Gruca
President Lynx Lake Property Owners Association
Who’s the new Owner of Zastrow’s Lynx Lake Lodge? Will it continue as Lynx Lake Lodge?
