The latest news from Carlin Lake Association…
Dear Friends of Carlin Lake:
Attorney Dan Bach began his call, reporting to the Carlin water defense committee this afternoon, by saying, “We won!”
At a November 2019 hearing, Judge Nielsen sent the question of a permit to pump Carlin water back to the Board of Adjustment once again for clarifications——and that careful work, of the BOA last November, was what the judge was ruling on today.
So——
Judge Nielsen said that the report of the Board of Adjustment from November was reasonable and well done.     He affirmed that county zoning and the BOA had been right to reject the Carlin Club’s request for a permit to pump and truck water.     He congratulated the BOA for doing a very thorough job.
And, at the end of the phone call, Dan Bach said that this was a situation in which “the right result was achieved.”
We can’t ask for any more than that this afternoon!!
Thank you!!
Be happy!   Stay well!!
On behalf of all your neighbors from Carlin Lake:
